In collaboration with Indigenous knowledge holders, communities, agencies, NGOs, industry, and other researchers, we bring together multiple knowledge systems and scientific tools to deepen understanding of climate–ocean–ecosystem interactions in the Arctic. Our work is guided by the principles of co-production and equity, centering relationship-building and shared decision-making.
We aim to co-develop adaptation strategies that are locally grounded and relevant to those most affected by rapid Arctic change. To support this, we bring together Indigenous observations with data from ships, moored sensors, autonomous platforms, and regional biogeochemical models, ensuring that both Western science and Indigenous Knowledge inform research and action.
